We had one gin in desha county that just finished this years crop last week. Over 100k bales, a lot of cotton!

As for photography in the delta, we have really 4 different views of the countryside each year. 1-planting season looks different from 2-growing season looks different from 3-harvest season and then you have 4-winter, fields are bare and empty. They are each beautiful! And animals, we have everything from Eagles to alligators. Several years ago, we had a family of red fox that lived in our front yard. ( we had several acres) that is a beautiful animal and the babies are cool to watch grow up.

I'm a huge fan of foxes. I've only seen 1 red fox...ever...but I drove by it and didn't have a chance to get a picture. Grey foxes are gorgeous too. . Thanks for that tip ! I've seen many alligators and eagles too, (in Louisiana) but they are no less amazing to watch as time goes on.
