Dan - at the bottom, sorry - I didn't set the bold right.
If you are going to be around Conway, you need to make Toad Suck Daze...! I'm going to try to find the line up for Riverfest as well. I think I read it, I just can't remember...imagine that... BTW - I have the paper in front of me if anyone wants additional info on these festivals...I can only give you pretty much what is in the paper except to tell you what I know personally from some of them!

Yeah, I just didn't have it bolded. I can recommend a good optometrist while you're here if you need one...

LT.Dan,
Please consider this your personal invite to attend the Magnolia Blossom Festival and the World Championship Steak Cookoff held on the third weekend in May. Check out www.blossomfestival.org for schedules, photos etc. The WCSC is an amazing event. You get to watch 50 of the world's best steak cookers prepare 5,000 rib eye steaks, eat one from your favorite grill (if you order tickets early enough) and the go to a free Kenny Chesney concert. The cookoff has been featured twice on the Food Network. You can check their web site to see when the 2006 festival show is rebroadcast. The Magnolia Blossom Festival is clearly one of Arkansas' premier festivals. If the web site does not answer your questions just ask me. If you are going to be in a RV you may need some help getting a good place. Another great guide to Arkansas Festivals is www.arkansas.com. go to the regional associations tab and you will see all you want to know about festival in each tourism district. For festivals across the south part of the state check out www.arkansassouth.com. |
