I meant to say, "news". Saw the Weather Channel footage of a house floating down the White River and crashing into a bridge--it was sucked right under it! I imagine this is downstream in the Delta and duckhunting area. Appreciate any news on what folks expect down there where the White and Arkansas run into the Mississippi. I really like that area. Lots of woods and bayous. Am praying for you all.

I have a dear friend who lives on the Spring River. He had a beautiful little cabin right on the water in Hardy. You could stand on his deck and fish off of it.

The water down there rose so fast by the time his neighbor called him at work it was too late. The cabin (on 8 ft stilts) is so damaged it will have to be torn down. The water reached halfway up the walls by the time it was done.

His dog survived 3 days in there before my friend was able to get him out.

What about the Jenkins Trout dock in Calico Rock? Were they able to save it?
