Hello. My name is Stacy and my husband and I currently live in Ohio. We are thinking of relocating back down south and are currently looking at a house on Edgewater Road in Greenwood.
I was on another forum last night (reading only), and noticed that several people thought Greenwood was a very unfriendly place to live. Can anyone give any advice on what they may have meant. I was born in Ft. Smith in 64, moved away long time ago, and was raised in Shreveport. Truly don't want to go there again, but our son, and grandson, are there so that would put us much, much closer. Thanks in advance. |

Greenwood people aren't very sociable towards people who weren't born and raised in Greenwood. As an outside, I would strongly suggest you steer away. You might want to consider south Ft. Smith, Van Buren, or Alma.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your response. I wonder why that is?

Stacy,
just wanted to let you know that, I moved to greenwood about a year ago.. I find the people to be kind, friendly and warm. I have never had anyone treat me like I wasn't welcome. I also have extended family members who have moved here, and all of us truly feel welcomed. |
