Default Shopping in Fayetteville

I have the choice of going Christmas shopping tomorrow to either Tulsa, Ok, or Fayetteville, but I don't want to go to a mall. Is there a historic area of Fayetteville that has nice shops and restaurants? Or should I go to Tulsa?

Try Dickson Street near the courthouse area of "old town" fayetteville. Lots of restaurants and shops.
