Hey everyone-

We're looking at buying a house in mid-May... any opinions on timing form anyone who knows the market?

Also, any opinion's on the Woodland's Edge development in LR?

Woodland's Edge is nice, safe, and you can get more for your money than you can in Chenal. A similar neighborhood to look at in pricing would be Villages of Wellington. Woodland's Edge is convenient to I-430 and Shackleford and the Shackleford Crossing development, Arkansas Heart Hospital and Baptist Medical Center are very close. It will be a lot more convenient when they finish the back entrance to the large development, which will be on Kanis near Chenal and will give access to the area's offices, stores, and new shopping center at Promenade at Chenal.

I think prices in that neighborhood and similar ones are down some, I think right now is a good time to look for bargains.

Woodland's Edge is a great place! They just opened a new area called Fox-something (?Foxwoods; can't remember) which is near the pool and tennis courts.
THe prices range between 250-400,000. I prefer WE over Villages of Wellington precisely because of the wooded area allotted in between house lots.
