It is the first time I have missed an annual spring float trip in that area in 3 decades. I can float the lower, later, I know, but the beauty of the upper buff is just unmatched anywhere I have ever been in Arkansas. ( the first time I saw the buffalo, was 1970 in a VW camper van, that was a trip)

Hopefully, y’all will have a good fall cabin rental business. I figure with football season being a half full stadium situation, people will be looking for something else to spend their time and money on. I always loved fall camping and hiking.

I own a nightly cabin rental. Even when Jasper looked like a ghost town and the river was closed, my cabin was booked and has stayed booked throughout all of this, and now June has filled up, and I'm already starting to get fall bookings too. I did get a lot of cancellations early on with the virus but was able to re-book all of the dates. It really surprised me as I thought for sure it would be dead and probably remain that way for the year.

Jasper is looking alive again and we are all so thankful.

Granddaughter and hubby own a town house in Branson. Yes, they too had a lot of cancellations but things are opening up now. it was rented over the holiday and now rented again. People are starting to come out of their shells and live again.

Seems like most of the tourism stuff has opened except for White Rock Mountain and Yellow Rock trail at Devil's Den State Park.

I don't get what's going on at White Rock because it is pretty hard to get to and it doesn't seem it would be crowded.

I assume the people that run it are older and more cautious about the virus.

I really want to hit up White Rock so I've delayed my trip out there.
