I may have to eat my words.

I just did a comparrison between Bella Vista and Little Rock and was totally shocked !

They show Little Rock to have a slightly higher average summer peak temp, but slightly lower average humidity.

Totally shocked that Bella Vista had humidity at 60 or above most of the summer.

I really question some of city-data's info.
They list St Cloud Minnesiota's summer afternoon humidity as 60%.

Aropund here, there are few really humid summer days and folks are grumbling when the humidity in the afternoon is in the 40s.

Yet, city-data lists St Cloud at 60% for afternoon summer humidity ?

I don't know what the science is, but my experience has been that Little Rock, and all along the River Valley feels much more humid than Northwest Arkansas. And this is my opinion only, but every time I visit Little Rock I am struck by the lushness of the landscape. Little Rock breathes like a more tropical climate to me. I love how when you get through the Hopper tunnel, there always seems to be a feeling of having crossed into a different climate. I get the same feeling about a half-hour north of Kansas City. The air seems to change.

I don't know where they are getting the figures. Of course average can be influenced by a couple of days here or there. BV and NWA in general is cooler than Little Rock and not nearly as humid.
