Flatliner,
the number for AR D.O.C. is 1-888-8ADC-JOBS (Sorry, man, that's the way they list it) ADC has a continual hiring process. A bit of advice, the North Central unit in Calico Rock is considered the "jewel" of the system. It's a medium/low and educational facility. The "clients" have got to earn the privilege of going there and staying there, so there's very few problems. Benefits are excellent, with too many to list. Academy is in Pine Bluff, it's 8 weeks. $24,300 while in the academy, $26,046 on graduation. The web site is uninformative, to say the least. If you ponder the North central unit, Calico Rock is a real good area to live in. Any other questions I can answer, or get answers for, PM me or e-mail me, link on my profile page. |
