Monka, mountains, lakes and trees is what I'm looking for definitely! Where we live now, in Saskatchewan, it's prairie and very flat, although the city we live in, Saskatoon, is very nice with a river running through it. It's nice in its way too, but I love rolling hills, windy roads, and I definitely need to live near water. It's like breathing for me. So Heber Springs and Conway are both looking like good options. Can anyone comment on what the schools are like in these areas?
Linda

I don't know much about Russellville, but Heber springs is a very pretty lake town. It sits on the banks of Greers Ferry Lake and its in the Mountains. My cousin is a teacher at the high school and it seems like a decent safe place to live. Conway has a high rated school system and some pretty areas toward the North of town.

In February we will be moving to north central Arkansas from Texas, too. We are moving to Quitman, Arkansas which is 30 minutes from Conway and 15 minutes from Heber Springs. We are very excited about the move. It is beautiful there!

Conway is much bigger town. There are 3 universities located there. Heber (Springs) has about 7000 people, Conway has 55,000.
