All of the establishments here in Russellville were wet this morning.
It rained today. Tee hee. |

seems like most of the places the OP mentioned were --RESTAURANTS
I don't consider a place "wet" unless there are some bars. |

In Russellville you take what you can get...bar, restaraunt, whatever. Arkansasguy, you're thinking of Cagle's Mill at the Holiday Inn. I think it's a sure bet the new convention center will have a liquor license - in spite of Jay Winters' campaign against any more wet establishments.
I really, really don't want to see straight bars go in, although I guess North Forty qualifies. The food is decent but folks go to drink. It's a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves liquor. It is such a conservative town I just can't see the drinking getting totally out of hand, but maybe it is a quiet conservative town because we aren't innundated on every corner with liquor stores. Are the other Dixie Cafes in Arkansas wet? I didn't remember that from the one in Little Rock we went to off Rebsamen. Hmm...

I am an employee of Ruby Tuesday and we did get approved for a liquor license. Starting Wednesday we will serve beer and wine and there will not be a bar at this time but it is probably in the future. I don't have any clue about the other places

I've been to Dixie Cafes in Memphis, Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Conway -- None of them serve alcohol. There's no way they ever would. It would offend the blue-haired old ladies who make up about 80 percent of their clientele.

Mickies Bluefish Grill is going in by the ATU exit on the Interstate. If headed west and look up on hill to right you can see all the dirtwork going on, that's where their going in I heard from a commercial builder.

The Mickie's in Conway is hideous. I hope the one in Russellville is better.
