Can anyone recommend a good national bank in the Little Rock area? I use to do my banking with Chase but they do not have a branch in Little Rock. Ideally, the bank would have locations in California. (Not from California but may be doing business there)
Just moved to the area so not too familiar with the city yet. Thanks in advance. |

I just moved to LR and have been asking that same question. A lot of people have recommended Bank of America to me. There would be some of those in CA, right?

Bank of America is the nation's leading financial institution and home for all of your personal financial needs (according to their web site).
And is the largest commercial bank in the United States by both deposits and market capitalization (according to wikipedia). So it is looking like the leading candidate at the moment. |

There are Bank of America locations all over LR and California. It would be a good bet.

I think US Bank has California locations as well. There are branches all over LR.

Regions Bank.
They're everywhere here. |

We used Regions after they bought First Commercial, and, after the merger, their service went (way) down and their charges went (way) up. We were very pleased after we changed to One Bank, a local bank with branches all over central Arkansas. |

Regions has replaced Superior as THE ghetto bank.

But they're no where close to CA.

What about Metropolitan bank? I understand that they only have branches in Arkansas, but are they any good?
