There are a lot of nervous nani state types around here.

Here’s another article, this one shows that CDC says masks do nothing to prevent COVID.

It’s all about control, and $$$$

I wonder what the deniers say about the reason for the abnormal lack of flu this season...

Is it just that the stars are better aligned....or is it possible that masks may be a contributing factor ?

Masks did nothing to change the course of the virus. Mask mandates were enforced early summer of 2020 in many states but the virus still surged in the fall and early winter regardless.

Princeton University data....Covid Deaths per million population...2020 link to data

Some of the states you listed and a few others...all listed in the link above.

US average: 1044.45
AR: 1218.10
CA: 642.48
ND: 1717.71
SD: 1682.00
TX: 946.21
FL: 1009.09
GA: 1029.82

Stats don't tell the whole story, but I see a huge difference between pro mask California and anti mask AR, ND, and SD.

Only is America dumb enough to make masks some sort of political statement, or turn it into some type of incursion against freedoms thing.

Meanwhile, the two corrupt parties which rule this country invent more nonexistent money to hand out stimulus checks, put more and more restrictions on gun ownership, keep funding drug cartels via prohibition, and in many places enforce crap like lawns and when you can and can’t put your own garbage cans out.

And masks are what we worry about.

No wonder folks are so pessimistic about America. It would be nice to worry about worthwhile things instead.

Well said.
Masks are annoying, but they are the mildest of COVID restrictions that various states/counties/cities have had in place. There are far worse policies in motion.

Without any preconceived bias, I'd be interested to review any data from a credible source you'd care to provide.
