The aquarium, the toy store downtown (if it's still there, haven't been there in years). If there are two adults that could go with them, the go-carts would be fun. When we were there, there were two tracks, one on the main drag out toward Lake Hamilton, and another one out on some other highway out from town. There's also Tiny Town...I don't know about your brother's kids, but that would have fascinated me when I was little.

Mid America Museum is fun for kids. The Alligator Farm and petting zoo is right by Tiny Town, which I always thought was cool as a kid. My kid likes to just run around on the promenade and then get ice cream.

I have a kid that is almost 4 and we do a lot of weekends in Hot Springs. Mid-America Museum is terrific for kids, it's a very basic science museum but you can keep two kids that age entertained for about 3 hours there. There's a go kart track on 270 not far from Mid-America, it also has bumper boats. The Mountain Tower at the national park is another place my kid loved to visit. He also loved the Ducks but for some reason, not the large boat on Lake Hamilton (Belle of Hot Springs).

Pirates Cove is a cool place to play mini-golf.
