I have a difficult situation and am in need of a little advice. I am originally from mccrory arkansas, then moved to trumann. Now i am in alaska waiting for my husband to be shipped away to iraq. During the year he is gone, i plan to move back home to be with family. I have a dillema on where to move. My mom and most of my family are staying in wynne arkansas. Most of my closest friends and in laws are in Trumann/Jonesboro, Arkansas. And I'm going to school in Newport, Arkansas. Back home we have a truck that gets about 10 miles to the gallon of gas, which is what i will be making do with while im at home. I need to find a nice town somewhere in the middle to move so that at any given time i can drive where i need to go and not waste too much gas. We have a 7 month old who will probably be going to daycare in trumann while i go to school in newport. I also need a decent and affordable apartment or house to rent for that year. Any ideas on where i should move to?

Have you looked at Harrisburg?I work there and drive from there to Newport everyday. It is a drive but kind of in the middle of everywhere you need to be.
