Default Healthcare Jobs in NWA

My wife and I are considering moving to NWA and will be looking for jobs in hospitals. We'd appreciate any comments on the facilities in the area. Thanks

with all the medical facilities in the area I would assume you should have no problems, but others may be able to give you some better info.

Healthcare jobs are plentiful here. I'm constantly seeing adds and hearing commercials, etc for employers seeking clinical staff. Everything thing from physicians and nurses to CNAs. You will have no trouble.

There is a shortage of nurses here (like the rest of the nation) So if you are nurse, not only will you be able to find a job but you will pretty much be able to call the shots as far hours, pay negotiations, sign on bonuses as well as other fringe benefits. That is how hard most places here are trying to recruit an keep good health care staff. All of these places have websites with job listings.

Some of the major hospitals here are Mercy Medical Center in Rogers (brand new facilities), Willow Creek Womens Hospital (in Johnson), Washington Regional Medical Center (Fayetteville), Northwest Health System (Springdale),and the VA Medical Center (fayetteville-great pay & benefits, but often has high staff to patient ratios). There are endless private practices of all sorts and school nurses seem to be in demand. They are filling some of the school nurse positions with those who are liscenced paramedics and things of that nature. Hope this helps.
