Default Yarbro Elementary

My brothers and sister and I all went to a small country elementary school in Yarbro, Arkansas. It's near Blytheville. The school was torn down quite a few years ago and I would love to have a picture of it. Anybody out there have one?

I attended Yarbro School, 1943-1949, Some great teachers were Alice Ross,[first & second grades], and Minnie Foster, [fifth & sixth grade]..I lived, with my grandparents, Mr. Khan Chapman and Ellen Chapman.. they lived on the "Number Nine" road, about half mile from the school, and U.S. Hwy #61..My school mates were Thomas Griffin, James Walker, Doyle Johnson, Billy Nelson, John Krutz, Wheeler Gracey , Charles Haines, Some girls were Patsy Yarbro, Jo Alice McGuire, Linda Bunch, Julia Trimue Two "Whittle" sisters, Ola Manley..Some folks called me "Bobby Chapman",,I attended Bltheville Jr. High before moving to Memphis in 1953.. I recall good times, Pickin' cotton, going to Mullins Store, going fishing on the bayou , the Ritz Theatre in Blytheville...Robert Chapman Lancaster,7-16-07

Mr. Richardson.. Just saw your response about Yarbro School..Please say "hello" to Julia, maybe she remembers me..? I last saw her in Memphis, when she was in a Cotton Carnival Parade.. She came with her Missouri school band, as a "beautiful MAJORETTE.. Moderator cut: edit - please take personal information to direct messaging - can't be too careful! Thank you, Robert Chapman, [Bobby Chapman], Lancaster.. P> S> She once came to visit me at my grandparents farm and we played in our barn..1941-1942? She lived on Hwy #61, near Missouri state line.
