Living in NE Arkansas and missing ice sports!
I am hoping to connect with all in Northeastern Arkansas who have enjoyed ice skating, figure skating, hockey, speed skating, broomball, etc and find that they have an empty spot in their soul since there is no ice nearby anymore!
I have been working on building an ice arena in Jonesboro and it has been a long process to this point. I sure would like to hook up with others here in the area that miss their sports as much as I do. If I am here and wishing, waiting and hoping then I know there must be others who wish we had ice!

The Jones Center in Springdale is EXCELLENT. Free Rink and FREE SKATE RENTAL!!!!!!!!!
On Emma St. to the East of Thompson Ave/71 B in Springdale.

Yep, I know ALL about it. We still need more though.... I always brag about the Jones center to people I play hockey with all over the place. When I tell them it's free their jaw drops. When I tell them what an adult hockey season costs there they just about pass out.

I moved home for a bit but came back for work. Best of luck to you with the rink. All of my family is still there and I hope that I can make it back soon and it would be so much nicer if there were a place to skate. There is nothing like it so I feel for you. Jonesboro has really grown tho so I'm guessing you'll get what you want. If you ever have the chance to stretch your legs on Dallas ice stop bye the Euless rink to say 'hey'.

Rink fundraising
