Fayetteville
I am thinking of moving to Fayetteville, AR. I would like to know if there are any bad areas of the city that I should avoid? Also, what do you think of Fayetteville?

I would concur on both, Fayetteville is an awesome town, arguably the most progressive and cultured in the state. The closer you get to the UofA campus the more likley you are to have parties and noisy events at night but I wouldn't really call it "bad." The only drawback is the economy is mostly consumer services driven so high paying jobs are still not very plentiful. It's improved a lot but still not highly diverse in terms of career opportunities.

Fayetteville-pretty freakin sweet
Yeah, everybody's right: Fayetteville is awesome!! As with any town, some areas are nicer and more well-developed, whereas others need...love...and some serious monetary investment.
But hey, what doesn't?
Nice(r) areas: East/Northern/downtown Fayetteville
Needing rehab areas: South/Western
Home prices are declining, too; it's a good opportunity to snatch some nice real estate!

Home prices in Fay. and some other parts of the state got WAY out of whack with reality, IMO. There's no way most people in that area can afford $200k+ for moderate sized home. Salaries there just don't pay well enough unless you're a Wal-Mart exec. All of the people cashing out in other areas caused the prices to go crazy. I'd expect a major correction over the next year or so. I'm such a dorky homer that I keep up with all that stuff. LOL

Fayetteville is Awesome
I love Fayetteville. My daughter goes to college there and I visit every year and we have so much fun. There is so much to do outdoors there. It's the prettiest part of the state. Go Hogs!!!!!!!!! We just went to the game in Little Rock in November. You will love it there. Best of Luck.
