arkie is on a distinguished road
Wow! I knew NW Arkansas was higher than SW, but I had no idea it was that much higher. I am looking at our local ads in this week's paper, Lake Greeson area--trees, pasture, river, lake, hills, diamond mine:
$1500/acre-over 200 acres to choose from
40 acres w/16 yr. old pine plantation--$80,000
93 acres--$1000/acre
That is just a few of them that are listed around here. Good luck.

Yah know Flippin ,Ar , has a very good school district, and so does Yellville, and Alpena, many go on to higher learning . We have lived in the Hills above Bull Shoals lake about a mile away for 3yrs - comming from city life- this is like Heaven. People are Good here too. Most Land here is no restrictions, and there are some Modulars seen.water , air, land seem to be very clean here- better for children. If your will to be patient , go to local county tax lien sales, some good deals.
Happy Hunting
