Me too Dean. Let us know. I vote for the Ouachita's with only a little bias, since I grew up in those mountains and worked there in the log woods when I was a teenager, and much, much later did contract archeology there for the Ouachita National Forest.

Arlington Hotel - We have Posted here several times about the Arlington. In Ray Hanley's ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE "Arkansas post cards past", he states that the original Arlington burned in 1923 but "---was quickly rebuilt." That confirms the age of the present building.

Garvin Woodlands Gardens botanical gardens is a treasure.

Many of the hiking trails and biking trails are being expanded......and will eventually go all the way to little rock

The recent discussion of The Arlington brought back the memory of this great view of Mountain Tower from our room circa 2016. What I would give to be sipping cold suds now on the Arlington's veranda in the midst of a steamy Arkansas summer evening.....
