Both of my parents grew up in McCrory/Patterson area. I have not been back there since my grandmother died about 13 years ago. There is NOTHING there except what? A Piggly Wiggly and gas station? I still ahve distant family there but I never talk to them unless there is a death in the family and they all go to the funeral.
