Default Need apartment close to Pine Bluff Arsenal

My husband will be taking a job on the Pine Bluff Arsenal in White Hall next month. He will need a apartment for a month or two while we sell this house. Can anyone help? Nothing fancy but a decent area. I have heard that living in Pine Bluff is not a good idea. Other suggestions for a cheap little apartment? Thanks!

When I worked there, '89 I think, we found a motel along 365 that gave us a weekly rate. Saves on renting furniture for a small apartment.

Any idea on the name of the motel? We are still here in Alabama and trying to do this all from here.

There are some apartments on Old Highway 65 not far from the Sonic. You would be about 2 miles south of the arsenal entrance. My wife lived in them for 5 months back in '96. They are average quality. If you are planning a short stay in them, they should be fine. There are also other apartment complexes in Whitehall. None are are more than 10 miles from the aresenal entrance.

I got no idea the name of the one I stayed at. Too long ago.

Use Google Maps. Search for Pine Bluff first. Then click on the Find Business button. Type in the type of business. e.g. Apartments, Motels. It will map them out for you. It wont be 100% of the ones available, but it's better than nuttin'!

Good luck!

P.S. Use Street View for a better look.
