No county / city income taxes. There are state income taxes & personal property taxes (cars, boats, motor homes, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, etc.).

You can play on Zillow, but taxes on a $500,00/ - $550,000 house are between $5,000 and $6,000 annually.

Private schools are not super expensive either ... my Massachusetts school is now $60,000 for boarding students and more than $40,000 for day students. The most expensive LR private schools are less than $15,000 (day students)

Woodlands Edge - The "Real Deals" section of the current Arkansas Business newspaper posted the sale of a W.E. 4,275 SF home for $615,000.
