Question Briarcliff, AR

Would appreciate any input about Briarcliff, AR. My sisters and I inherited a lot there and are considering making improvements & maybe building home there for vacations and maybe for future retirement home. What is the area like? Are there a lot of vacation homes in the area or mostly year-round residents?

I have heard that there is some political turmoil there -- some people wanting to encourage growth and improvements, others wanting to keep the area mostly undeveloped. Any inside information on that?

How does Briarcliff compare to other small towns in the area?

Any information would be appreciated.
