Default Relocation to AR in 2009

As someone who will be relocating to AR within the next year it sounds like there is a wonderful variety of things to do and people to meet!

My husband and I will be coming to AR next month for a few days and will be looking into alot of different things. I plan on having a job before we move and our landing place is Clinton. It is a small town not unlike the towns we grew up in in IL.

I will however remain a Cubs and Bears fan, as the sports nut in our house perhaps I could get into some Razorback FB and local football too!

October 13 -19 What was I thinking. October. October. Sheesh!

It is good to see that someone besides me mixes up Oct (8) and August (8th month)!

I do it all the time. It would have been so much easier if August was named October don't you think? LOL

It's too bad you didn't come down last week or so, you missed out on the chuckwagon races! I've never seen them but it's a huge event in Clinton and apparently gets people from all of over the country coming to compete!

I imagine you'll get into the Hawgs whether you want to or not...It's kinda all you hear about so you'll eventually get drawn into them! lol

Pretty much. I think one week all the leaves fall out of the trees, and the next week, they all start blooming again...

Actually, it's not that drastic. But, let's just say that the trees around here get the hint when folks start putting up Thanksgiving decorations. The trees are like "Oh, is THAT what we are supposed to look like?"
