Bummer!

I know what you mean, though. Every site on the web asks for registration and a password. One starts out using the same password everywhere until a site gives restrictions on the length or configuration of the word, then you have to come up with something different. Next thing you know, a couple of years have passed by and you've got lots of different passwords across multiple sites.

Years ago, I started using a note pad program called Jotz. Thinkertons.com It seems to be Mac only, but there's probably something similar on Windows. It allows you to keep multiple note pads, each with multiple pages. It makes a great place to just store oddball information for quick retrieval, so I created a page on a notepad to list alphabetically all the web sites and their log-ins. Works like a charm unless I forget to enter the info when creating a new log-in. But, I've gotten used to keeping the record and generally never forget.

Another thing it's good for is recording all those alphanumeric registration keys for purchased software. I've also got a ton of those in a separate pad. Comes in handy when migrating to a new computer.

I take it you've already tried to get assistance from someone at City-data.com?

Nah, I'm just going to go this route and forget about it. I don't care about reputation and all that stuff anyway.
