Living in Northwest Arkansas, over the years you become accustomed to this being Republican country. But I've been seeing alot of Obama/Biden signs in yards. Not to say there aren't alot of McCain/Palin signs as well, just the number of Obama/Biden signs is surprising. Is there much campaigning going on in the rest of the state?

The few signs I've seen thus far in my neighborhood have been Obama/Biden. I just don't think there's much excitement surrounding either candidate.

Ive seen tons and tons of McCain signs as well. Its usually the candidate with the most signs that loses.

Well... I have seen a lot of McCain/Palin yard signs but I have seen a lot more Obama/Biden bumper stickers. So I guess in my neck of the woods it's kind of balanced out! I really think this has been a bad campaign year, and though I am supporting McCain, I wish we had better choices! I would have been first in line to vote for Huckabee! I think for the most part though, that in my area of Arkansas the vote seems split.

Gee, we have only seen 2 or 3 Obama signs in BV and lots of McCain, more each day. But I haven't seen nearly as many of either as in past years.

LOL that's all the Obama signs I've seen down here too...it's just that I've seen 0 McCain signs! I think there are more signs for the alderman's race than for pres, at least thus far.

maybe people want to keep their presidential picks private this year and are a little embarassed about endorsing either.

doubt that has too much to do with it, I think more likely people are interested in other campaigns.

In Conway, the signs appear to be about 60/40 for McCain.
