Default Russellville Area

Lake Dardanelle is one of the most wonderful lakes in Arkansas as far as I am concerned. I live on the lake near the Nuke Plant and I'm not worried about it. If you don't like Nuclear Generating Plants, don't move here. But if they don't bother you, Russellville offers the most for families including the retired to the new family just starting out. Jobs, convenience, shopping, fishing, water sports, it's all here and it's half the price of the rest of America, maybe because of the Nuclear Plant.

Any more advice? I am a single parent nurse moving away from my home town for the first time. I want this transition to be as easy as possible for her. Any advice on schools, places to go and not to go, an adult hang out spot like a club or something and any kid organizations that would help her make friends. What ever i need to know tell me. I will be there periodically over the next month. I will be there full time in may. I am trying to find an apartment

You know how I describe Russellville?

"The worst smelling town I have ever been to with very hot summers and killer humidity, and a lake I wouldn't stick a foot in... clearwaters are more my taste both fishing and swimming."

I lived there for a year and hated it!!!

Dover or Pottsville Schools, the teachers really care about education.
