Hope is a fairly quiet town about thirty minutes from Texarkana where you would go to the large stores. In Hope there is a Wal-Mart - probably a Superstore. A variety of restaurants and fast food places.
IMO Hope has the best Art Council in the state - Southwest Arkansas Art Council. The Director is a grant writing genius and has brought numerous art programs to the community and schools.
I have a few friends that live in Hope and they like living there.
