It's before the Arkansas Senate now...Arkansas grocery tax should be cut in half...
Could this be a bad thing or a good thing for the future of Arkansas' ecomony? I live in Camden and there's talk of Camden getting a Wal-Mart Super Center. If we do there will be 2 empty buildings that Wal-mart has added to our slow moving ecomony in Camden. I'm afraid that some of our grocery stores will not be able to stay open if we do get a Super Center. I myself like to go to just one place to shop where I can get almost everything I need so I'd be guilty sometimes of not supporting some of our home town stores. Camden needs a boost to our economy. It's a nice small Southern town with warm and friendly people.

I rememebr paying grocery tax while i lived in ElDo, let me ask questions. what is it now, and what is hanging after this bll was signed ?
