It would probably be better to just fly out of Memphis.
It's a major hub whereas Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas are not.

Little Rock and XNA are both Regional Airports and flights there usually connect to DFW, Atlanta or St Louis. There's a few non stop flights but not many. A lot of people in nw Arkansas fly out of Tulsa, it's an International Airport and cheaper.

I drove from Fort Smith and flew out of XNA a few months ago. I wish I would have just flown out of Fort Smith and saved the money on gas and parking. I haven't flown out of the new Fort Smith terminal but I know they at least have a real restaurant in it. I got there early so I could eat before I left but I got stuck eating a pretzel with cheese sauce and being bored. Oh man I want one of those new I-pads that will be so awesome the next time I fly.

I am not quite sure what you are looking for, but if you are flying in from somewhere else which it sounds like you are and need to be in the NWA area some of the major airports that have connecting flights are, DFW, StLouis, Chicago and Atlanta for starters. The smaller airports in AR are not international, this would include Ft Smith and Little Rock. Tulsa is a popular airport for people living or doing business in NWA, it is about 90 minutes from say, Fayetteville. Kansas City is about a 21/2 to 3 hour drive from NWA. Memphis is quite a bit further, but it is only a short distance from Little Rock. I hope this helps you a little..

NWA is the biggest airport in the state, and offers the most flights to cities in the US. Little Rock and Fort Smith mainly connect to Memphis, DFW and Atlanta. Does NWA have full sized jets these days? I flew out of Little Rock once and all I saw were small prop planes.

We are trying to get into Arkansas from outside the U.S. We are actually trying to get to North West Arkansas Regional Airport. We wanted to use the International carriers as far as possible since we will be using employee airline discount. From the looks of things we would probably be best taking the International Airline to the nearest International Airport and then purchase tickets on a smaller commuter plane. Would you say that Tulsa is the Nearest International Airport ?

Thanks everyone for your help !
