Hello all, I too am looking to retire to a small community but will still have to work somewhere. How long would it take to get to fayetteville? Is there any other quant small towns surrounding the city.

Huntsville is a good 30 minutes from Fayetteville, more like 45ish to many locations within the city limits. If that's too far, perhaps Prairie Grove might be a good option, right about 15 minutes to most places in town. There honestly aren't a lot of towns I'd consider quaint in close proximity to Fayetteville, Prairie Grove however, is one. City of Prairie Grove, Arkansas |

Our granddaughter and her husband live in Fayetteville and his family in Huntsville, She says, depending on where you live in Huntsville, it is about 45 minutes..Just about what Stormcrow said..
