Not sure about Paragould.....Nw Arkansas and Sw Missouri are good areas to move to....housing is affordable and the Springdale AR area is growing and is a string of several towns coming together, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, Lowell. Lots of building and there are jobs.....Springfield MO is growing and has a job base as well and housing is affordable. Several lakes systems close to each of those places. I have a website on my profile that can give some more info.....hope it helps.....

Paragould is a crummy hole in the wall town, about 30 miles from Jonesboro, which is really another crummy yet bigger town. Paragould is TINY. Absolutely nothing to do there. I can't imagine the schools are all that great; you need to keep in mind that public schools in smaller towns are not very good with special ed. Yes, it might be a federal/state mandate, but so what. I have dealt with tons of kids who need special ed help in their small home towns and the schools don't care, don't help, and don't abide by federal law. If your child gets resources for his ADHD, keep that in mind.

As was stated, NE Ark is not good, NW Ark however is much better. U of A is located there, along with the home of Wal Mart, which means that there is a lot more culture, diversity, and education.
