Try contacting Louise Adams, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She needs to be "discovered". I love her singing. Straight from the heart. She wites songs and sings, too.
She has a book (short journal-like) that she has written. It will make your toes curl. It should be made into a movie. She writes about growing up poor, on Wallace Mountain, there just North of Mountain Home. The book/journal is named "A Cry from Wallce Knob". I've never read anything like it. I could not put it down. I insisted my daughters read it too. They could not put it down until they had finished it. It only takes a short while to read, about 4 or 5 hours. She certainly should be given recognition for her music and writing.

Moderator cut: deleted personal information You can Google and search "A Cry From Wallace Knob" and find the website for the Baxter Bulletin Newspaper article about her..... I think it's www.baxterbulletin.com/printerfriendlyarticlepage or something like that. This book is a real eye-opener.
