There is a Boggy Creek near Fouke Ark, I have driven by there and stopped at the little store there many times.
There has been many sightings of an unknown bigfoot-type animal there, but until one is one captured, it will remain a legend or tall tale. |

hi there cowboy........ i agree with you, no one will ever concede this thing exists until someone kills or captures one. Hopefully it will be the latter.

I have had some interesting experiences over in Oklahoma very near this area. Remember most action starts 2 hours after dark and ends about daylight.

The big foots only want to be left alone. People comming near where they live on ATVs and 4x4s frightens them, They are very timid..

Can’t one just marry it and take it home to daddy? I looked through the Arkansas Game and Fishy regs last November and I did not see the bf listed for killing or capture. Why must you kill every thing?

As a native Arkansan, I remember there was a movie made years ago called The Legend of Boggy Creek. I don't know if it was a regular movie or a documentary. Perhaps I can look it up for you, but I don't think its true. It's probably like the Loch Ness Monster and the other Big Foot, just a myth.

As far as kill or capture, it doesn't have to be killed, like you are hunting for one. You can also accidentally hit it at night while driving in a truck, or have to kill it to protect you own life. There have been reports of the Fouke Monster being aggressive than passive (if the reports can be believed). If it does exist, I wouldn't be for killing it to study it.
There was one movie about the Fouke Monster, "Legend of Boggy Creek" that was more of a documentary. There was a sequel, but it was different than the first. There are also reports of a similar creature(s), if one exists, in SE Oklahoma, NW Lousiana, and NE Texas. |
