Smile Job market in Hot Springs

My husband and I are thinking about relocating to Hot Springs from southeast Oklahoma in the next couple of months and I was wondering what the job market is like there. Are there any warehouses or larger places that do hiring? Or maybe something like Weyerhauser or MDF plants? Food processing plants? Anything large like that? I'm a secretary so I'm sure I won't have a problem finding work in my field.
We were in Hot Springs last week as my husband had a car accident and was airlifted to St. Joseph's there and I just fell in love with the charm of the city. Husband is fine, only a concussion btw I appreciate any responses!

I suggest looking on the Jobs Arkansas -- Brought to by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette website and that will give you some idea.

Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed also isn't bad.

Best of luck!

Thank you! That second link that you gave me is a really good one. I couldn't find anything through the first one but I haven't had a lot of time to look through it. It seems like there's a pretty decent job market in and around Hot Springs.

I'm not sure how long you have to live in Arkansas to be considered a resident or apply for residency but there are plenty of opportunities out there for you to improve your skills and get it paid for.

Ar. Dept. of Workforce Education

I know a manufacturing plant plans on opening in NLR in 2010 I want to say...so just keep that in mind.
I wish you the best.

Hot Springs has a lot of service industry jobs that are tourism-oriented. Honestly, LR-NLR has a lot more available jobs right now.
