Hello, my husband is being relocated to fayetteville in a few months and I was wondering are there any nice areas for renting in the 72703 zip code. We have 1 daughter who will be starting school this year so nice schools will be good as well. I am a stay at home mom at the moment but am going to return to work once we get there, how are the jobs there? Thanks in advance.

There are tons of nice rental places in the 72703 area, as well as the rest of Fayetteville. Finding an acceptable place to live should not be an issue at all.

As far as the job market, I honestly don't know how things are here- it's been awhile since I have looked into that. WELCOME.

The job market is good but not great right now. It hasn't been hit here like the rest of the country but there has been downsizing. There are plenty of rental properties in Fayetteville thanks to the university. You can rent a decent house for under $1000/month. Maybe someone else can chime in about schools because I know some schools are considered to be better than others. However, you probably can't go wrong with any of the schools.

The Fayetteville public schools are ok. There are also parochial schools (catholic, baptist) nearby that are also good. The one private school in Fayetteville called The New School is also good.

Thanks everyone for your comments, my husband and I are going to be coming up there in a couple of weeks to look around and see if there are any for rent signs out in yards..yes I know the old fashioned way, but sometimes the best way. As my friend got scammed on craigslist on her rental.ouch..So I refuse to look there. We are baptist so I think I will check into that school. Thanks hope everyone has a great week!!
