I'm halfway through the news on KAIT, they're reporting 2" of ice in some places, 35,000 without power, and that we're only halfway through it.

In my neighborhood, looks like we've got between 1/2 qnd 1", and tree limbs are dropping. More to come.

I don't know how, but we've still got power. Had some glitch outages, but that's it. I don't think that's going to last. Marine batteries are all charged, invertors at the ready, 20 gallons of gas for the generator, and a freezer full of ice cubes.

Worse part is, the satellite dish is ice covered, and not working.

Now *that's* survival mode!

Here in the Jonesboro area there are some power outages but the roads are, apparently, not that bad. Right now we have a bit of freezing rain and it's suppose to sleet tonight so tomorrow will probably be worse. I didn't go out today though, I'm just not taking the chance 'cause bad luck seems to follow me lol. Kaye

Power's been out here since 11:59.

They're saying on the radio that you and Ash Flat are out too.

Latest radio report says 50,000 without power in N AR, and climbing.

Baxter county has been hit the worst and is completely down.

This is gonna hurt.

I assume you are either God himself or you are using a laptop? Before our power goes, can I go pour a glass of wine?

Well, they gave us tomorrow off because of weather. However, I now have to work Friday. It better darn well do something! Friday is supposed to be pretty nice also.
