Any Asian Indians in Pinnacle gardens or Shadow Valley Sub-divisions? Are those subdivisions kids friendly? Which elementary school do the kids go to?

Thanks.

I am hoping someone can help you, I just can't . I will say, you are not going to see a lot of Asian Indians period, but that does not mean you will not be accepted. I do know Bentonville has a great school system.. Other than that, you will have to hope others can help you.

Welcome and good luck,

Nita

Shouldn't you be more concerned over the high school rather than the elementary school, this is a mistake many parents make when moving into vast subdivision areas. Phoenix, Arizona provides enough evidence to discourage this limited criteria in location decisions.

I live in Whispering Timbers subdivision in Rogers, there are several homes here owned by Indians, mostly working for Walmart HQ; they attend the local schools like everyone else. It's a very kid friendly neighbourhood, almost every house has kids or teenagers; the local elementary school is Reagan Elementary just across the road, so within walking distance, which is nice.

I do not know if many Asian Indians live in the areas in which you are interested.

If you plan to buy, I would not choose Pinnacle Gardens. There are many empty houses and most of those are for lease because they aren't selling (they have been for sale for 2-3 years). Pinnacle Gardens also does not have any amenities which doesn't leave much for a family who is new and trying to meet others. This neighborhood is also small in that it only has two streets.

Shadow Valley has lots of families with young children. Shadow Valley also offers golf, tennis, swimming, a clubhouse with a restaurant and activities.

Pinnacle Gardens and Shadow Valley children attend Central Park Elementary in Bentonville. Bentonville only has one high school, so all students in the district attend. B-ville schools are good. Central Park does tend to have a waiting list, so definitely do your research.

Pinnacle Country Club might be another option. It is in the same part of town and it is similar to Shadow Valley in that the amenities are the exact same and there are many young families. Pinnacle is split in that about half the neighborhood is in the Rogers district and the other half is in B-ville. Those that live on the Rogers side attend Bellview Elementary - also a good school.

Although mostly in the Bentonville school district, all these neighborhoods are located within the city limits of Rogers. Pinnacle and Shadow Valley are country clubs and will require you to mantain a membership; Pinnacle Gardens is just a neighborhood and won't require much beyond possible POA dues.

Some websites that might be helpful:

www.pinnalcecc.com (Pinnacle Country Club)
www.rogers.k12.ar.us (Rogers Schools)
www.bentonville.k12.ar.us (Bentonville Schools)
*I don't know of one for Pinnacle Gardens
