Hot Springs Restaurants
The gf and I are planning a trip to Hot Springs next month.
Can anyone recommend some good (preferably locally owned) restaurants?
She's vegetarian so a place with some somewhat decent options for vegetarians would also be nice.
I'm a picky eater but we both like Mexican, Pizza, and "American" if that helps. I was looking at some of the websites listed on Hot Springs' tourist website and just wanted to get some opinions of those who have actually went to the places.

McClards barbeque is awesome (for you, for her they have potatoes and bbq beans). They used to have some good chinese restaurants there too.

Try Central Park Fusion Cuisine. The name sounds confusing (did to me), but you can check out their good looking menu at Menu
It is on Central north of the Bath House Row.

I really enjoy the (das) Brau Haus, but I have a feeling the vegetarian options are slim...I don't know. They used to have a menu online but I can't find it now.

I've never tried Brau Haus because of so many mixed reviews. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be brave and try it. There is not much food that I don't like after-all!

The 1217, at 1217 Malvern, has veggie options and is great.

You're about a thousand miles off, but I'll definitely keep that place in mind next time I'm in South Dakota.

They are great. If you go there, you have to try their Tomato Basil Soup.

Home Plate in Hot Springs. We just returned from Hot Springs and had dinner at the Home Plate a few times. There is a Mexican rest down the street that we did not try, however, the locals said it was excellent.
Are you staying in the Hot Springs gated community?
