There are a lot of older homes. You'll find some on Cane Hill street. Also find some south of Poplar Street to Main St. Also find some south of Broadway Street. Look for these streets and you'll find the older homes. If you want I can be more specific

this is what you do. go to realtor . com. use the search box and put in 72956 or 72957. Use single family and the box dropdown to 51 years or less. I learned this after looking since October 2008 so save you lots of trouble. the multi-listing for this area is the pits. I am still trying to figure out how to directly go to it so go thru a local realtor and look at the mls and look for the name of the company who listed the home. Very, very reasonable vintage homes in VanBuren. If I was younger I would tackle this but alas, been there and done that. These lovely homes need to be saved. Lots of them in Fort Smith also. My best to you.

MLS listings: 561050,526001,567209,557286,566600. 557286 is my favorite, but the bargain is 566600 priced at only $69,900. Good luck!

I don't think they are all fixer uppers and didn't mean to imply. The red and white one is fabulous.

Nice house, that would be the one located on Cedar St. The only drawback is there is some shady neighborhoods surrounding it... not so much blatant crime wise, but you'll see it's a different demographic if you drive around the surrounding blocks.
