Default Arkansas doing badly in yet another survey.

This time for Well Being (46th) and Physical Health (47).

More here:
Utah Tops Survey of Well-Being in U.S.

Is it not ironic that the "Natural State" comes in near the bottom for Physical Health?
One of my peeves with the State is the lack of walking trails/tracks. Not only is it a health benefit to have an adequate supply of trails, but a social one too.

Once again, let's thank the usual suspects (Mississippi, Kentucky) for bringing up the rear.

Timtheman is on a distinguished road
I believe that the "things" that these surveys "count" as relevant don't give Arkansas a fair look. There is an intangible something about Arkansas that's unique and special and you have to live it to experience it.

When you have over 5 million unemployed people throughout the country, I don't think any state or its people are in good physical and their well being isn't much better!!!!!

But 46 other States are coping a bit better.

As Timtheman points out though, there is the "intangible factor" that does not get measured.

I am also curious where they find their respondents e.g. people living in Pine Bluff will answer differently to those living in The Heights, Little Rock.
