My husband and I go to Eureka springs a few times a year. We always stay at a different Bed and Breakfast and basically walk the town. It is a neat place just to walk. We run a cattle ranch in OK so when we get away it is to do nothing.

We always eat at Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse for prime rib one night and then we either eat at DiVitos or on the main stip their is another Italian Restaurant that is very good and cheaper than DiVitos. It is in a historic house and at the moment the name has slipped my old mind. But I think I like it better than Divitos which is near the main hub but in a newer building and more restaurant like in any town. I've eaten at the Cresent Hotel and it is OK. I've eaten at Autum Breeze and it was OK.

We intend on retiring in that area.

Smile visiting Eureka Springs

Ok places to eat......Rogues Manor downtown by the Post office has the best atmosphere you can find in Eureka. Cafe Soleil is another great place to eat food is wonderful and not so expensive. just plain yummy and the desserts are Fab try the Choc.Moose Cake 2 time winner at the Choc. Festival. The other Italian place the other poster was talking about is Ermilios, great food as well! Welcome to our lovely little town and hope you have a great stay!! While you are here enjoy wandering around Eureka and be sure to check out the giant Jesus statue at the Passion Play.

When I am there I spend a lot of time at Chelsea's Pub. It is a locals hang-out and has pretty good food.

There is also a little restaurant as you are heading out of town west. I don't remember the name, but we really enjoyed the food there. All freshly made. Nothing tasted like a Sysco Truck.

Where is that pub. Never been there. There is also a neat lunch place that serves beans and cornbread.

When we went thru town several years ago there was a place called Bubba's that served BBQ! It was VERY good!
Also went to Turpentine Creek - this is an exotic animal sanctuary! BEAUTIFUL animals! They even have cabins that you can rent! I will be going back again!

What are the cabins like? Do they serve meals? I've driven by the Turpentine Creek but it didn't seem like anyone was there.
