Default need resale values in Batesville
Retiring soon. Plan to purchase a small home to temporarily search for "my spot". Are resale or rental values good enough in Batesville Ar? As I read responses, Jonesboro Ar sounds like a possibility. Does anyone know the best place in Ar for reasonable initial purchase and then in a year or two resale value?

Batesville is in an economic down-swing right now. ANOTHER one of our major industries is having MAJOR lay-offs right now, and a lot of people are hurting in that area. You might be able to find something at a good deal to buy with people moving to find work elsewhere, but until the area brings new industry back in, reselling might not be quite as beneficial.
