What can you tell me about Fouke, AR? We found a property of interest there but don't know anything about the area. We currently live in Webster Parish, Louisiana, about 2 miles from the AR line below Columbia County. Our current town has a population of just over 200, so we're used to tiny towns. We have young children, so info about the school there would be especially helpful.

It has been a few years since I drove thru Fouke but I recall a convenience store, a bank a café and the Fouke Monster . I don’t know about the schools there. It is a small town, less than a half hour away from Texarkana or an hour away from Shreveport. There is not much there.

Before I committed to the property I would do a "walk-about" to make sure you see what you are getting. That is low-land, but being from Webster Parish you know what that means. The community of Fouke is between the Sulphur and Little Rivers so it may be even "lower" than you are used to. Schools - Google "Fouke Arkansas Schools" and you will get their Web Site that may answer any questions and maybe give you a point of contact.
