We're planning on building our retirement home in Broken Bow. Our only concern is health care and emergency care. We've been told that the closest good medical facility is in Texarkana. We visited the hospital in DeQueen but their only surgeon had passed away. What do you people do in that area for health care?

Most people go to Texarkana or Fort Smith for major health care. Mena has a newly expanded facility but I dont know how they are. We live in Mena and are having to move for work reasons. We are trying to sell our home and the fact that this is a retirement community is getting our house a bit of attention from across the country.
