When I was in Arkansas this summer I witnessed saw three fatal accidents, is it just me or does it seem that all the people from out of state can't drive. The Arkansas roads are bad enough as it is, especially 40. I think that the State Police needs to crack down on wreckless drivers and drunk drivers, anybody else agree?

Ummm, ok.

1. How old are you? By your phrasing you sound pretty young.
2. Arkansas' roads are rated in the top half of the country.
3. Out of curiosity, how do you know that they were fatal accidents?

5. How do you know the drivers were not from out of state?

DUI enforcement in AR is certainly not lacking from the newspapers I read.

The vast majority of accidents are either, "lost control on a curve", or "crossed into the oncoming lane".

These curves sneak up fast, we have a lot of drivers that aren't as good as they think they are, their bald tires don't hold too good, are just plain stupid, or should probably have sworn off driving after the second hip replacement.

Again, I'll echo the previous post, "How do you know they were fatal accidents?".

Did you watch the reconstruction?

See the marker reference points?

There was an obvious decapitation?

??

I would just like for slow drivers to get out the fast lane, no matter what state your car is registered in.

I know when I'm going slower than the speed limit or the speed limit to get in the slow lane. Why this is so hard for others to grasp....?

It'd also be nice if less drivers tailgated, especially when it comes to motorcycles. On my way to Hot Springs there was this SUV really on this motorcycle's tail. It just made me even more concerned for my mom and step-dad when they go out on the motorycycle.

Default Accident causes

It does seem like we are seeing a lot of accidents that involve one driver crossing the center line and hitting an oncoming vehicle.
I can't help but think this is due to CELL PHONES!

Perhaps wrecks caused by inattention due to cell phone use should be ticketed/find just as much as a DWI is.

Maybe they can't drive to suit you but I bet they can spell. The word is "reckless", not "wreckless"!!!!!!

Sometimes its due to age. I'd be a millionaire if I had a dollar for every time some senior citizen almost caused a wreck.

I could get on board with that.
