Default How bad are Magnolia schools?

Needing to decide if Magnolia is even a possibility for us. We have kids ages 7, 3, and 2 and will be moving from a small town in north LA (30 miles from Mag). Thanks for any advice.

I too live in La. About 22 miles from Magnolia. I do work there and have many friends there. From what I understand, Magnolia's school system is top notch. I bet if you asked 10 people who have kids there, you would get 10 different opinions.

my children attend magnolia schools, and have since we moved from tx 7 years ago. as with any education, you get what you put into it. my children excel and have had mostly wonderful experiences. we have only had one teacher i would rate as terrible, (who retired, i hear), and one class of students that simply should have been broken up, it made my younger one hate school and dread returning the next year - but he has since had better experiences. if you put time into helping your child, you will be happy here, if you do not have the extra time to devote to giving your child many extra experiences out of school and assisting in homework, you will be unhappy.
