Does anyone know if HSV's population consists of basically Arkansas citizens? My friend who says she has visited claims that the population there is from all over the country.
Are there many Yankees living in HSV? Does anyone know the actual percentage?
Are most residents there from the Bible Belt areas of the country? That would be my guess, but I could, of course, be totally way off base.

People from all over the country retire to Hot Springs Village. Why wouldn't you believe your friend?

HSV like Bella Vista used to be primarily for retirees but no longer is that the case and yes, there are people from all over the country living in HSV. Many are from Texas, Iowa and some surrounding states so you will get a certainl amount of Bible Belt influence but not really noticable. Anyplace in AR is going to be a little bit bible belt attitude. This isn't all bad and yes, you will find people from NY, the upper mid west, as well as the west living in HSV. The main problem some people have about HSV is the strict control the village puts on property.
